Couldn't do the afternoon stint, so got to Cooden at about 10.30 to find sun and 5 people out. Most were on between 5.0 and 5.8. I went 5.7, but much of the time I would have been fine on the 5.0. First time in short arm summer suit and it was fine. No chill, but bad sunburn on arms and face now!

What a great day, just charging around in the sun. Had to be home by 3 so came off the water just past two as people were beginning to turn up for the falling tide. Sea state wasn't brilliant, but I didn't care - it was sunny and windy
